Most people like the beers of Germany and Austria. Of course, the UK is known for their tasty brews as well.

Wow Ralph that's a tough question to answer, because everyone has different tastes.
I have a friend who really enjoys dark beers - stouts and porters - which I cannot stand. I generally only like the very lightest lagers. So choosing a "best" beer is really something each person can only do for themselves.
There are quite a few blogs dedicated to beers and breweries and such, so you might get more opinions by haunting a few of them.
For the record, when I'm outside the U.S. (and where getting a nice Coors Light isn't possible) I like Stella Artois, which is from Belgium.
