I'm a little confused by all of this FTC talk. My blog has Google AdSense on it. I don't write reviews (yet) for money or anything like that. Does the FTC ruling affect me? I don't think it does, but that's my interpretation of the new rules...
What if you just have a regular blog?

Hi Sarah
You don't need to disclose anything with regard to your Google AdSense, as those are clearly ads.
The FTC guidelines are intended to address either links or text (content) that a blogger is compensated for that is NOT clear to the reader.
So if you're not doing any reviews or endorsements -- for which you are paid -- and don't use in-text links that are affiliate links (where they go to another site or page for which you earn something if a purchase is made), then you are correct in your assumption that you are not impacted by the new FTC rules.
But it's still good to be aware of what they mean, because at some point you may start writing paid reviews or use affiliate links in your content.

Thanks for responding. I didn't think the new rules affected me at this point.
