Good question. Clichéd photos can be sunsets, couples kissing in the park, villagers, snow capped mountains, and other photos that you've seen 100 million times!

Hi OTRA - sorry I just saw this!
I do have to agree with Rebecca that I've seen a thousand photos of sunsets and snow-capped mountains, but I never tire of seeing happy couples (even those that are kissing in parks) or kids having fun, or people who live in small villages.
I do think that you can take photos of those - or any other - subjects, but you should seek to find something that is unique or different about the image you're capturing - maybe something that gives the viewer a different perspective on a familiar scene.
Or try something really different, like a collage of different snow-capped peaks - maybe well-known peaks - in a way that highlights their differences instead of similarities.
