Lately, I've been becoming bored with blogging. What can I do to bring more creativity into my writing/blogging? What do you do to keep your creative flow? Thanks...
What can do you do to bring more creativity to blogging?

To bring more creativity to your writing you could do the following: get away from your writing for a few days and let your mind wander; try a different writing style; read books for fun; take writing courses and workshops; attend a writing conference; and brainstorm for ideas.

Those are all great suggestions Rebecca - I use many of them myself.
Sometimes it also helps to invite others to guest blog on your site, which not only gives you a break from it, but it opens the door to more collaboration with other bloggers and writers, which often leads to inspiration.

I think it also helps to surround yourself with creativity - hang out with others who are creative thinkers and artists, spend time in museums and art galleries, volunteer to help out wherever help is needed.
Sometimes when you do things that cause you to see the world differently it helps to spark new ideas. I really believe that creativity begets even more creativity!
Good luck Sarah!

Hi Jamil
Each blog owner would have their own guidelines for guest posting, but generally speaking you should first look over the blog you'd like to send a guest post to in order to see if they have published guidelines or procedures. Then contact a blog owner to inquire about a guest post. It helps if you have a topic in mind to pitch, obviously it should be one that you think is in keeping with what he or she already publishes and something that the blog's readers would be interested in. Then, if you haven't already found - or been directed to - the guest posting guidelines, you can ask what process you should follow.
For example, I have all NEW guest posters pitch me a topic first, then if approved they send the post via a Word document or text file. In some cases I may ask for changes, or if it's acceptable then I post it listing them as the author, with their photo and bio. If they're comfortable with Wordpress, after several guest posts I may give them a login to write their posts directly in my Wordpress, but they cannot "publish" the post, all they can do is mark it as 'pending review'.
I hope this helps!

Yes, personally I would always publish a guest post on my blog myself. Even if I set it up in such a way that it looks if the guest-poster had posted it himself.
I like to read guest posts first before I publish it.
