I've been reading blogs that come from the viewpoint that travel writing doesn't have anything left to offer in the age of mass tourism and the internet. I believe travel writing will have a place because the world is changing everyday. It seems to be getting smaller because we're becoming more global, but countries are doing their best to preserve their culture and heritage. What do you think?

MemberTravel writing will have its place. Everyone has a story to tell and travel writing is like story telling, especially if you write a memoir or fiction travel book. Don't get discouraged by those sites that travel writing is getting lost amid mass tourism and internet. I agree that countries will hang onto their culture. That's one thing people can preserve.
