   My new book is coming out soon and I would like to make a special little website for it, with its own domain name.

   This little website will be nothing more than a page on which I promote the new book and give people the opportunity to buy it. The only extra thing I like to have on it would be an extra page where poeple can read the first chapter of the book.
   The book is going to be an ebook, but is also going to be available as POD.

   What is the best way to set something like this up?
   I have a paypal account on which I can receive money. Are there plugins I can use for payments?
   Has anyone here got any experience with something like this?

   I think you could do some sort of 'squeeze page' to promote your book. You could use Shopping Cart or create a PayPal widget. I'm too experienced with with the 'techie side' of websites. I gravitate more towards the graphic design part of it.

   I've been looking into the idea of an ebook as well and found E-junkie. They deal with all of the billing/hosting/delivery for $5 a month. I've yet to speak with anyone who's used the service, though...

   I have never heard of them before, so I can help you there. I am personally using a plugin called WP estore. It's not free, but it has some great options.
   I looked into a free WP simple shopping cart plugin, but it worked out that its big brother (the WP estore) was better suited for my needs.

   Actually I am an affiliate of e-junkie for a number of ebooks and it seems to work very well - however, it doesn't seem like they offer a seller much in the way of tools so most of the ebook authors I'm an affiliate for provide their own banner and ad graphics, then you just take the link that you get from your affiliate account with e-junkie and use that as the target URL for the ad image.

   I know that ClickBank is the #1 affiliate program for ebooks, but e-junkie does work too. I can give it a thumbs up.

   You might also get in touch with Andy Hayes, who has a number of ebooks for sale through e-junkie.
