Hi,
This afternoon I suddenly noticed the following message on my dashboard.
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 67761 bytes) in /home7/mariasta/public_html/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 529
It is under the heading Wordpress Development Blog.
I am wondering what it means and what I need to do to fix it (if it needs fixing).
I hope someone can help me with this. Thanks.

Hi Maria
As long as you don't see error messages on the "public" face of your site (what your visitors see, not your admin area), then it's not likely anything to worry about, it's probably just something with showing the posts from the development team's blog.
On that note, unless you're a serious geek about WP, you probably aren't even interested in seeing the latest blog posts from the development team, and if not, you can get rid of that section if you want to.
If you want to get rid of that section in your dashboard, then look in the upper right corner for a small tab that says "Screen Options" - click on it, and uncheck the box for WP Development Blog (and anything else you want to get rid of) and then click on the Screen Options tab again to make it go away again.
You can also rearrange what's left by clicking and dragging on their title bars to move them around how you like them.
Thanks Trisha, it had me worried a bit.
I must admit I didn't even realise that the WP Development Team had a blog... I think I will rearange my dashboard using screen options, like you explained.
