I read that Continental and Delta are increasing baggage fees. Bummer! How do you think this will impact travel and travel writers? I believe Southwest does not charge for bags, thank goodness.

I really think the only effect it will have is that more people will be trying to take everything as carry-on. It's already pretty bad with carry-on space being gone by the time the last dozen or so people board.
I try to fly Southwest whenever I can for this very reason.
