I have started a blog, write articles and love to blog. But i don't have a social circle and lack real friends. I want to make friends and increase traffic to my blog. Can you help me add my orkut, twitter, facebook into my blog so that my online friends visit there and give me suggestions?

You could use a plugin or widget from Wordpress to put Twitter, Facebook, or Orkut on your blog. Some of the plugins are not compatible for WordPress 2.9.1. If you know someone who is tech savvy, they could probably copy the code and place it on your website. I use plugins and widgets because I'm not a web designer...I know a little about coding, but not that much.

Rebecca is right on this one - your best bet is a plugin.....take a look at this one..

If you want to install it, the easiest way is to do it from within your wordpress back end - go to Plugins > Add New, and search for this plugin by name, it should come up on the list of results, then click on the link that says to install it....remember that you'll need to configure it with your actual account names for the social icons you elect to display.
There are many wordpress gurus out there who can help you customize your blog without the use of plugins, but I don't know of any that work for free......a plugin is your best option right now.
Another option is to search out Themes that have the social networking icons built into them....or talk to the developer of the Theme that you use to see if he/she will customize your Theme for you - many will for a small support fee.
