Travel writing is something I enjoy, but wonder how I could become a strong travel writer? Perhaps even a heroic travel writer. Guess I'm feeling philosophical.
How do you become a heroic travel writer?

I guess it depends on what you mean by "strong." Strong writer, as in paying attention to grammar and punctuation. Strong writer, as in writing pieces that will keep people coming back for more. Being a heroic travel writer has sort of a "romantic" connotation about it. You could read other travel writers to see who the "hero" is in their story and transcend that to your writing.
