In addition to travel writing, I dabble in graphic design. I'm doing my best to generate enough income each month. Are there any websites that work specifically with freelancers?

Thanks for the question. It's good that you are diversified. Many publications will ask for photos to accompany your travel article. I'm sure you know Photoshop!
Did you check out Elance.com and Guru.com? Freelancers bid on jobs. Check them out. You never know where it will lead you. Maybe you'll find a freelance writing job with a travel publication...

MemberThanks for the info. I dabble in graphic design as well and have friends that are graphic designers. I'll pass the information onto them. Some of them also do the copywriting as well. I've told them to check out TWE...a couple of them like to travel so they could make some extra cash if they write an article...

MemberI think it's great that all of you have diverse skills. I've noticed that some of the jobs are asking if you have SEO, graphic design, photography, and other skills. It does make you more marketable as a writer. It's not just about writing a great article. Then again, if you write for National Geographic, you'll probably have a photographer to accompany you on your trip
