You could start a forum; it's a great way to get traffic to your site. Forums do take much work. Will you be moderating the forum? Will you have help in catching "spam?" Before you start a forum, weigh the pros and cons. It can be a lot of work. You'll need to strike a balance between your writing and moderating the forum if you're the only moderator.
