Hi everyone! I just launched my first blog, <a href="http://www.solofemaletraveler.com." rel="nofollow">www.solofemaletraveler.com.</a> I love it, but it is innundated by spiders (bots). There are lots of "good" spiders like google and yahoo but there's also a massive tangle of bad spiders whom I've googled to discover they're known e-mail harvesters and content thieves. I've created a robots.txt page and run it through a filter which tells me I have it set up correctly, but still the bad spiders return because there is apparently no way to stop them, you can only ask them to please go away with the robots.txt page. And then, of course, because they're bad spiders they don't. So my questions are: Is anyone else bothered by the cacophony of bad bots on your site? Do you have any advice for making them more effectively go away than the robots.txt page or by paying someone to write code to try to keep them away? Also, do you know of anyone who has actually found that they have had content stolen from their blog and posted elsewhere? Thanks a lot, Sabina

Hi, I have recently set up a facebook page and would like to have my blog posts exported to it, like they do to the Travel Writers Exchange page. How do I set that up? Is that done from the facebook end or the WP end? I can't seem to figure it out. I have managed to turn my posts into tweets on Twitter. :) Maria

Hey all, As I know a number of us have blogs that we work hard on. Sadly it is a big world out there in those darn Internets and all the SEO, link backs and endless competition doesn't make for creating spectacular readership overnight. It is a grind. I have been doing it for a while and have developed a good readership. But I am wondering what the next step might look like for further growth and how to get other travel writing types to band together to help our own cause. After all, this is Travel Writers Exchange. I have a few ideas, but before I throw them out there I wanted to see what the level of interest might be. Any thoughts? devin
