Gary you bring up a great point - the interaction with others' postings....

Social networking is all about being social - it works best when you make the effort to really interact with the others you've connected with - take an interest in what they post and comment when you can....that's another reason why I post to Facebook manually and I do all my tweets manually as well.

I post by hand as well in addition to using Network Blogs. As long as you're posting and getting traffic that's all that matters.

Sorry for my late reply, but I have been away for a couple of days.

I think I will post to my facebook page by hand as well. That sounds by far the most trustworthy sollution. And as you say Gary, it is nice to talk to people who leave comments.

I post everything to my Facebook fan page by hand. The automated solutions just don't cut it.

Because I post by hand, it also makes me vist the page more often and talk to people who leave comments.

Hi Maria

OnThaRoadAgin is right - Networked Blogs is what you want, but there is another step. First you have to sign up with them on Facebook (register your blog) - that will enable them to pull your blog posts and post them to Networked Blogs, so that people who "subscribe" to your blog through them on Facebook will get your posts that way (it's sort of like an RSS feed exclusive to Facebook)......

BUT to have them automatically post to your wall you also need their Application.

I tried using their App but had trouble with it - it was causing my Fan Page to come up completely blank, so I abandoned it some time ago and just post to Facebook manually now. I may give it a try again in the future, but for now it only takes a minute of my time to do it manually.

There are some WP plugins that will do pretty much the same thing, but I haven't tried any yet. As TWE grows and gets busier, I may have to resort to one of them.

Don't know about anyone else, but I use an application called Network Blogs on Facebook. You can list your blogs with them and it will show up on your status. I think there are other applications on Facebook. Not sure how everyone exports their blog.

Hi,

I have recently set up a facebook page and would like to have my blog posts exported to it, like they do to the Travel Writers Exchange page.

How do I set that up? Is that done from the facebook end or the WP end? I can't seem to figure it out.

I have managed to turn my posts into tweets on Twitter. <img src="http://www.travel-writers-exchange.com/Forum/my-plugins/bb-smilies/default/icon_smile.gif" title=":)" class="bb_smilies" />
