I can understand how you feel about being trapped, sometimes we feel suffocated by our own comfort zones. Do you work at the moment? If you work full-time then it can be easy to fall into a routine. I think you must be a "risk" taker as well. So many people would like to work for themselves, but they are used to the "comfort and security" (or illusion of this) of a full-time job. Find blogs to comment on and books to read on RV Travel or Road Trips. Interview people and find out what they did. People who would like to start their own business will be drawn to travel writing because they enjoy travel and writing. It will also appeal to retirees. Baby boomers who are considering retirement or would like to take the "plunge" and start a new career will look into travel writing. I think a "shift" has occurred in peoples lives. It's all about putting things into perspective. </p>
