I've noticed Twitter offers something called a "Twitter list" but I don't know what it means. I enjoy using Twitter to get the word out about my travel writing. Anyone have a clue what exactly Twitter List is? Thanks!
What is Twitter Lists?

A Twitter "list" is simply a collection of people on Twitter that you compile, and then give your list a name.
So for example if you are interesting in travel writing, and think other people might be interested in also following some travel writers that YOU follow, you could group those travel writers that you follow into a List, and then let others know about your list, so that they can come look at it, and possibly also follow those travel writers on your list.

I was wondering the same thing...So that's what Twitter List is about. I have 2 lists, but I couldn't figure out how I got them. I must have "clicked" on something in my haste to log out of Twitter.

Twitter lists are a great way to start the whole darn race over again to create eliteness
It is a lot harder to fake (autofollow / spam adding!) on a list and it a pretty good measure of how important someone actually is.
Personally, I like lists because instead of sorting through the 5 billion people who are on my normal twitter i can sort people into "stuff for guys" "travel writer friends" "travel PR people" etc. and if I feel like seeing what's up with travel PR people or at the various CVB's I can or if I want to keep track of my travel writer friends I can do that too without having to sort through 100's of tweets.
