Just curious about what we can learn from other travelers, actors/actresses, volunteers and other people who travel to different countries.
What insights can we learn from other travelers?

Interesting question. I just read a blog on Brave New Traveler.com about "The Travel Wisdom of Bruce Lee." Not only did the "wisdom" apply to travel, it applied to life!

I do like Bruce Lee...I'll check out the post.
I think we can learn a lot from other travelers. One thing I've learned is to go with the flow and not get upset if my desired "travel experience" does not happen the way I thought it would. It does make for a great article!

Actors and actresses do travel all over the world. Just look at Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. How many kids do they have? They use their "star power" to help others in countries and in the U.S.A. that are less fortunate.
Brad has done a lot for the people in New Orleans. Recently, he was in D.C. to talk about his foundation "Make It Right," which helps the people of the lower 9th Ward in New Orleans. Hurricane Katrina devastated this area. We can help out by New Orleans by making a donation or just taking a trip to New Orleans. It's still a great place for travel.

I read the article about Bruce Lee. It had some great quotes and reminders about travel and life (in general). I to have learned to go with the flow and be flexible. If you're flights delayed, it's delayed. Getting upset (like so many people do) will not help any. You may was well enjoy the experience and then write about it!

Travel is an amazing thing one that most people take for granted, whether you are famous or not, I mean famous people sometimes wish they were normal too, they usually get quite lonely because they can't walk around places like a normal tourist can without being hassled.
I mean just think back in the late 1800's to early 1900's when planes were invented, before then it was almost like an impossible dream to be able to cross ocean to another country or to be on the other side of the world unless you were prepared to travel for months by boat.
I still appreciate and get excited when I go from one country to another, im also thankful that I arrive safely

I totally agree with you about appreciating and getting excited about traveling from one country to another. It's very cool to visit other places, see new faces, and learn something along the way.
