Hmmm...not sure. I don't take a laptop with me when I travel, I use the internet cafe's. Verizon is always advertising their '3G Network' on the radio and TV. You may want to check them out. Maybe there's a 'techie forum' that has answered this question. There are a ton of network's out there. You may want to check with your cable and or phone company. Perhaps they have a 'deal package' that you could check into. Good luck...

Hi OTRA - I do take a laptop with me when I travel, but generally just use the wireless provided at the hotel, which is usually acceptable, and often free.
I think this is a question that could be better answered in a tech forum that deals with wireless carriers - you'll likely get much better answers.
