There are millions of websites on the internet, let alone blogs. What if you only did video blogs and loaded them up on YouTube? I've been learning a lot about blogging and have increased my skills, but I'd like to visitors more. I've been thinking about posting a series of video blogs on YouTube now that I know how to use it and my web cam!

Sorry for the delay in getting a response - it's been a busy week and I know Rebecca has been very busy too (I think she's been attending a conference)....
Video blogging is getting more popular, and I can only speak to my own opinion, but the ones I like the best combine video with text - sometimes I don't have time to watch a video, but I can quickly scan an short article to see if I want to spend more time at that site later....so if I were going to go in this direction, I'd make a text post to accompany each video, with a brief summary of what's on the video, along with some "If you go" tips or other information (e.g. best time of year to go there, best place to stay, what to budget) things that don't always translate well to video - that way folks can get a sense of value before they decide if they want to invest time in watching a video.
That's just my two cents.....
