I was watching a webinar on internet marketing and noticed that many people are putting PowerPoint presentations on YouTube. How easy is it to take your PowerPoint presentation and create a video with Windows Movie Maker? What's the process? What's the size limit for YouTube?

Hi Sarah
I can't answer questions about MovieMaker specifically because as Mac user I've never tried it, but I can tell you that there is free software available to "capture" what happens on your screen and turn it into a movie, such as Jing, which lets you share via Screencast.com - Jing's Pro version which costs $14.95 per year lets you share instantly to YouTube or just save a MPEG-4 or SWF (flash) copy on your computer for use elsewhere. The only limitation with Jing is that you're limited to 5 minutes of recording time, but it does also capture audio recording from your input source (mic) so you can "narrate" your presentation. I use the Mac version of Jing Pro but they also have a Windows version.
Perhaps some of our Windows experts can chime in on MovieMaker and how it compares to Jing or other products.

I used MovieMaker to upload a presentation on YouTube. It was was easy to use. You do need a "video converter" to convert the file to an acceptable format. Here's a list of acceptable formats:
* Windows Media Video(.avi)
* .3GP (cell phones)
* .AVI (windows)
* .MOV (mac)
* .MP4 (ipod/psp)
* .MPEG
* .FLV (adobe flash)
* .SWF (shockwave flash)v
* .MKV (h.264)Size limit for YouTube is 2 GB or 10 minutes in length.
It's really easy to use movie maker. Just upload pictures (convert your PowerPoint presentation into JPEGs), audio/music, and video. You can even upload from your digital camera. I never worked with videos, and I was able to figure it out. It's a lot of fun. I'm still working with the audio, but I'm getting there. I'd like to take out noise and stuff like that. Hope this helps!
