Is traveling with children a good niche market? What about senior citizen travel?

These are great niche markets. I traveled to OH over the holiday and many people traveled with children. I traveled with my kitten and my fellow travelers could not believe how well behaved he was! He slept from AZ to OH and vice versa. On the other hand, on the flight to Cleveland, there was a little girl (3 or 4-years old) who was screaming her head off! She was not having anything to do with air travel. The children on the flight back to AZ were fantastic...plus, they were older than the screaming girl on the flight to OH.
Many seniors travel, even if that means traveling with canes and wheel chairs. They are not giving up their travels. This would be a great niche market.

Traveling with children is a great niche market. You must be organized, especially if you are traveling with small children. For example, make sure to check the stroller and car seat when you board -- when they say "those with special needs and or children" can now board, start walking and get on the plane!
Traveling with children can be stressful, but it does not have to be. I suggest before your travel from one end of the USA to the other or to a foreign country, you take a "mini" trip with your children. If you live in OH, take a flight to Chicago. If you live in California, travel to Arizona. These are short trips and it will give your kids a chance to become acclimated with air travel. They will get used to going through the TSA checkpoints, seeing other passengers, and hearing the noises from the plane. And -- they will get used to using the bathroom on the airplane.
These are great leads if you want to write about traveling with children. Good Luck!
