I haven't updated to WordPress 2.9.2 because I thought I saw something about WordPress 3.0. Does anyone know about this? I'll hold off updating if 3.0 will be out in a few months. Then again, I'll hold off with 3.0 because they'll probably come out with 3.0.1 or something like that 
Is WordPress 3.0 on the horizon?

Sorry for the delay! I believe WordPress 3.0 is on the horizon. I saw a "blurb" when I logged into my account. Who knows when they'll upgrade. This is the reason why I didn't update to 2.9.2. I had a feeling that 3.0 was around the corner.

3.0 is supposed to be soon. I checked the release notes for 2.9.2 (http://wordpress.org/development/) and it does not seem to have major security issues but that is something to look out for. When a version has security fixes you should download it ASAP.

3.0 has a release candidate out which seems to work OK when I tried it.
