Is Digg worth digging into?

I've heard a lot about Digg. Does anyone have any insights on how it works?

I've been digging into Digg myself. I notice that a lot of the news agencies are on the site. What I don't like about it are the categories? For instance, I write about careers. They have no career section. Many websites have either "jobs, careers, or employment" on their site. It almost seems like it is more "news" oriented.

I'm still "digging" into Digg as well. There's a lot to learn a lot about Digg.

I'm trying to figure out how I can "permanently" have DIGG on my website. If I figure it out, I'll let you know. If someone else has any insights, please share...Thanks!
