Hi,
I've entered a blogging competition to win a trip to Antarctica next February. If I win, I will write a blog throughout the voyage for Quark Expeditions, and I can take a friend. Unfortunately, like so many of these blasted ventures, writing merit has little or nothing to do with winning. Whoever has the most votes wins..
So what I've done is set up a website (barnabysadventures.sitebones.com) which takes you to the voting page (where you can read my application) and offers the 2nd ticket in a prize draw to anyone who has voted. I thought it was a great idea - the ticket is worth $10,000 - but people just aren't voting. In this modern world, people are possibly reluctant to register with a valid email address. What am I to do?! I'd be grateful if anybody could vote and spread the word. Otherwise I'm going to have to get the BBC involved! Thanks,
Barnaby
