Was thinking about some paid advertisement to get people to my site. Not sure if I ought to invest the money. Would appreciate some insight. Thanks.
How viable is paid advertisement with driving traffic to your site?

Hi Angela - I don't recommend it unless you are actually making money from your site. Otherwise, you're just in the hole.
You're far better off to focus on free ways to get increased site traffic, which starts with making sure you're regularly adding great content that is niche-focused. Pay close attention to the top keywords that bring people to your site. AND be sure that you're making the best use of social networking that you can - if you're not on Facebook and LinkedIn, you should be, and you should be using Twitter, although it's important to do it right and not lose followers by doing it wrong.
