Does anyone know how to create a photo gallery on your blog? I'd like to incorporate my pictures from my travels in a presentable manner. Sometimes the picture tells more a a story than words. Thanks.

Wordpress has a built-in way of creating a photo gallery from photos that you upload and then insert in a batch instead of one by one.......then if you're using the lightbox plugin or slimbox plugin, they will display in a nice fashion....
Rather than my attempting to write out a lengthy instruction, you're better off to read this page first from the WP documentation on galleries and how to create/use them:
http://codex.wordpress.org/Gallery_ShortcodeIf you're not using the aforementioned plugins, check them out here - they're pretty similar but in my opinion slimbox seems to be more reliable....

HOWEVER, if you have a TON of photos to display, you may be better off to use a hosted photo server, like Flickr or Picasa, and THEN use a plugin to display photos from that server - that can work very well also.

As someone with 10,000 photos online, I HIGHLY recommend against using WordPress to organize your photos.
1) It isn't really designed to handle photos, even though it can do it.
2) You are putting all your eggs into one basket. If something happens to your web host or your site, you could lose everything. Also, the added storage space makes backing up more difficult as well as adding to your storage and bandwidth bill.
3) Flickr or Picasa are better options. You don't have to pay for bandwidth and their hosting is much more reliable. I'm not a fan of Flickr, but it is better than putting your photos on WordPress.
4) I highly recommend Smugmug for photo hosting. It does cost more than Flickr. The pro version of Smugmug is $150/year ($12.50/month), but it is by far the best photo hosting service I've found.
