Good question. You could step away from your blog and then come back to it. Maybe you could find a new design or create one. If you find your passion starting to fizzle for your niche market, you could find another one and start a new blog.
Before you walk away, review your blog. List what you like and what you do not like about it. Do you feel you've taken it as far as you can go? Has your travel interests changed? Not making enough money from it? Think about these questions and go from there. You may find that your blog just needs a little "tweaking." I hope this helped!

I agree that you could step away from it for some time. Don't give up just yet. Maybe you could have someone else take a look at it -- get a fresh perspective...

It helps to also ask why you have a blog in the first place. Remind yourself of your intentions when you started a blog up, and if those intentions don't inspire you any more, then come up with new ones!

There's some very good advice here, which is to NOT walk away or abandon an established blog - just take stock and decide what, if anything, needs changing. If it's a travel blog, maybe you just need to go on a trip! Only this time, go as a 'tourist' - literally just take a vacation, and look at it from a reader's perspective, not a writer's. Sometimes just seeing things differently can re-inspire you.
We always write about "finding your niche", primarily because when your niche is something that you're passionate about, it's less likely that you'll lose enthusiasm for it. But anyone can get 'burned out' even when what they're doing is something they love. A little time away is sometimes all it takes to get your passion back.
In the meantime if you're concerned about not posting on your blog for a bit, consider asking someone else (or several people) to do a few guest blog posts - even the late great Johnny Carson had guest hosts every so often.
Just remember - this too shall pass.

Regarding guest bloggers, you could ask family & friends...who knows, you may awaken the writer in them. And -- you can mention that you'll have guest bloggers while you're on vacation. It's a great way to help a high school or college students looking for writing experience.
