Buying bottled water adds up and it's not helping the environment. Does anyone know of any water filtration systems that you could use on the road? Thank you.
Are there any portable water filtration systems?

There are lots of them! Try Amazon or REI - I know my brother (who is a long distance hiker) uses one for every trip and wouldn't hike without one.

Try SteriPEN http://www.steripen.com/adventurer-opti because you can recharge the batteries.

Check out the products at http://www.seychelle.com/
they have several different options, bottles (non-BPA), canteens, straws etc. The straw looks kind of interesting, you could carry that anywhere as it doesn't have a lot of bulk.I saw a reference to their site while surfing the web and thought their stuff looked interesting. Have ordered a bottle to try them out. Watch their video demo to see how well it seems to work.
