   Is an ad-free blog a good idea?

   Thanks for the question. I wrote about this topic, see the post Travel Writers Secret to Making Money from an Ad Free Blog. The answer is YES! You can use your blog as your travel writing portfolio. Some clients are still "old school" and ask for "hard-copied" samples, but many clients will request links to your work. You could also ask for donations for your blog. If you have a top-notch blog and readers enjoy it, then ask for support. This technique does work! Hope this helped...
