When you visit a destination, get out and meet the people. The locals will know where to shop and dine. Check out local events such as arts or cultural events. <em>Learn photography</em> because it will <strong>boost</strong> your chances of selling your travel writing. When you travel, be observant and take notes. Be aware of your surroundings, notice the colors of the leaves on trees, noise pollution, smell of the air, the people, etc...Travel as much as possible and write about it.
