Good question. I never thought about re-tagging photos. You could probably just rename it. Go to the 'media' area in WP. There's probably a spot where you can re-tag photos.

Dave and Deb talked about re-tagging pictures in a recent post on their site, and I have also read about it in the Suzy case studies, but I am still not entirely sure how to do it.

When I uplaod a picture in WP, I can give it a title. It also is given (I think) a file URL.
Is it the title that is picked up by search engines, or do I need to do something with the URL?
For instance one picture URL on my site is: http://www.mariastaal.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/pict-3-12-e1282228234306.jpg
Do I/can I change something in the URL or will it then all go wrong? And if I can, what do I do?

I have given all my pitcures proper titles now (I often left it blank before), but I would like to know if I can do more with the pictures to get more traffic.

Thanks

Maria
