So don't worry about copying someone else's "idea", as long as you feel you can bring your own spin to it or add something to it, that will make it unique.</p> <p>Sometimes you may be reading a blog post elsewhere with which you disagree - you may feel that it's important to get your opinion on record too.</p> <p>I remember a few years ago hearing some hollywood director or studio head was quoted saying "there are no new movies being made - everything is a remake of something that's already been made" - or something very close to that effect.</p> <p>With billions of websites out there, it's very hard to have a truly original idea for every blog post, so don't let that frustrate you. It can be difficult to stay focused on writing. Just take a deep breathe and keep the "bigger picture" in focus. The holidays will pass by in a "flash." It makes more sense to enjoy them instead of worrying how you'll accomplish everything on your list. This is where prioritizing comes in handy.</p> <p>I like the idea of setting a timer. And -- I'll just buy a cookie tray if I do not have time to bake! </p>
