Hi Erkan,
Its good to share such information. If you are looking for cruise travel information I think you should look for a good travel website, where you can easily get some useful information that would definitely help you. Recently, when I was searching for a good travel agency on the Internet, I came across a great website i.e.
KosherTravelers.com , where I found the travel and tour facilities of accommodation, cruises, transportation etc. to be top notch and at a very reasonable cost with great discounts on offer as well.

Viator is currently looking for travel writers to contribute to our network of Things to Do blogs on an ongoing basis. We’re looking for writers with an expertise in several destinations or an entire region (see list in link). So if you can only do NYC or you can only do Melbourne and Perth but not the rest of Australia, that's not going to work. Note that some places, like Thailand, have a Bangkok blog and a more general Thailand blog that will cover a range of destinations. Also, some blogs cover cities or countries, while others cover regions or even attractions (like Ayers Rock and the Grand Canyon). If you haven't everywhere in the area you are applying for, that's fine, but you'll need good research skills and a network of other local experts you can reach out to for help.

Each writer will be responsible for writing and publishing (in WordPress, including sourcing photos, and adding links, tags, and categories) a set number of posts per destination, usually 2 to 5 per month (which means if you have 5 destinations, that will be 10-25 posts per month).

The posts will be assigned from a content plan with the writer’s input and range from travel tips such as how to get around in a certain city or great things to do with kids in a destination, to information and news on current events, festivals, dining, and things to do. Word counts range from 300-500 words and pay is $45 per post.

If you are interested, please fill out the form below and let us know which destinations you are interested in, or email katieh at viator dot com.

If you ever want to publish a full article, then ask the original publisher for permission to reprint it, and be sure that you state that it is reprinted with permission, and it's also considered good form to also link to the article whenever possible.

Thanks for sharing an "untold" story. I've only been travel writing for a little over a year and never thought of sharing untold stories with anybody but family and friends. I'll have to rethink that now and maybe put them (still edited for general reading) on my blog. It could be interesting...
Thanks again

When travel writers go on assignment, the goal is a publishable travel article. But often, there's a more interesting back-story on our journey that we can never write about.

For example, I never wrote about getting robbed in France, falling in love in Kansas or getting locked in a bathroom in Switzerland (don't ask!), but they are the stories I remember best. Read more on that here: The Travel Stories That We Can't Write

Many of us have these tales. What is your most memorable travel experience that you never got to write about?

Yes, I'm probably one of the thousands of thousands of people who gave up their normal life and decided to start as a travel blogger. I just started a month ago with writing, 4 posts so far, my first post was about Philippines and reached over 1500 Facebook likes which really surprised me and I hope I'm on the right way.

So enough bla bla of mine, I don't wanna bore anyone.
If you have time, come over and check it out. have a nice day, cheers from Istanbul!

Hi. I'm Tanya, a 32 year old writer who moved to London a year ago for my husband's career. Worked in the corporate world for 11+ years in New York City and finally have left to pursue my passion of writing full time. Just started a travel writing and living abroad blog a few weeks ago.

http://www.pagirlgoesabroad.com

I'm interested in researching and reading other great travel blogs, magazines and publications out there, as well as ideally finding other forums for support (if anyone else is doing the same thing in London, it'd be great to find out about you as welll!).

I was excited to find this exchange and look forward to finding out more about it in the coming weeks. Happy New Year.

Hey everyone,

Escapist Traveller (http://www.escapisttraveller.com/) is an online travel magazine that is dedicated to writing about special places in the globe, and trips where you can have luxurious or life-changing trips. I am one of the writers here and we all write for free, but are looking for a couple more writers to come on board! Do you have what it takes? If so, please email an example of your travel writing to editor@escapisttraveller.com to be considered! It will look great in your writing portfolio, and you may even be invited on a press trip! Other writers at the magazine have been invited on incredible press trips to Egypt, Portugal, Panama, Finland and many others, so if we like your style and you want to write for us, this could be you jet-setting off to some amazing places!

Thanks guys!

I think you can 're-use' your past travel experiences in a lot of ways for later posts, if you consider them from different angles.
You can for example concentrate on public transport systems, on cultural habits, on National Parks, on luxury or budget travel style... and then draw on your travel experience to draw comparisons. Make a list of the ten most beautiful and in your opinion underrated beaches you can think of, for example. Do some internet research, but don't copy - if a post has nothing unique to it, you might as well save the time.

I'll be having the same problem in a couple of months - I'll see how I can cope with that...
All the best for your blog!

I am extremely new to blogging myself(and not yet that good at it!). So far I have received most of my help from google searches. Although I use blogger I am sure Wordpress has plenty of tutorials out there. Ex: search for "how to (anything you want to learn) on Wordpress". Read as much as you can and try to follow the instructions. Like I said I am no expert, but doing this has brought me a long way so far!! Good Luck to you! And please share your blog with us when you get it how you want it <img src="http://www.travel-writers-exchange.com/Forum/my-plugins/bb-smilies/default/icon_smile.gif" title=":)" class="bb_smilies" />

I just wanted to introduce myself and my wife as we are creating a travel blog (Tourist Guide Central)and also are looking for anyone with ideas or suggestions for additional blogs! Our traveling experiences are so far very limited, we have traveled a lot in USA and England and are heading to Australia in December.

We currently have social media accounts on Twitter (@touristguidec), Pinterest (http://pinterest.com/touristguidec/), Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/TouristGuideCentral) and of course our website - Tourist Guide Central.

Any feedback on what we can do to improve things and spread the word about this new website would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks
