I think the taking pictures tip is one of the most important! You’d be surprised at how much you forget between the time you visit and the time you write the review-even if you don’t delay. I also like to compare what they advertised on their website to the actual experience … not always the same thing!

Thanks for the great tips on writing a review. I’ll keep these in mind the next time I “attempt” to write a review (not my strongest writing). I stayed in a hostel in Edinburgh, Scotland…maybe I’ll write a review on it…I did enjoy my stay…
