IFWTWA Writing Scholarship Announced

Updated: Jan 12th, 2010

Here’s a fabulous opportunity for all of you aspiring travel writers out there – the International Food, Wine, and Travel Writers Association (IFWTWA) has announced a Scholarship contest that will award a First Prize as well as two “runner up” prizes, all three of which include a 1 year paid membership to the IFWTWA along with other valuable prizes (including the opportunity to get an article published), and the First Place winner will also receive complimentary attendance for their 2010 “Conference At Sea” cruise (including taxes and port charges – airfare not included).

I’ve just interviewed Maralyn Hill – president of the IFWTWA about their Scholarship so be sure to listen to the podcast for full details, or read the transcript (links below).

But don’t delay – the deadline for submitting your entry is August 15, 2009 (if submitting online) or if you’re entering via snail mail, your entry must be postmarked no later than August 10, 2009.
