    People love podcasts because they can take them everywhere. It’s great for marketing and building relationships with your visitors. Podcasts have unlimited potential!

    The benefits of a podcast are: generate traffic to your website, you’ll become an authority in your “niche” travel market, free advertising, and you could land some freelance travel writing work. You never know who will see your podcast.

  3. Social networks. MySpace [3], Facebook [4], Twitter [5], StumbleUpon, Technorati, Digg, and countless other social networking sites can put you in touch millions of people. If you do not have a MySpace or Facebook page, go and set one up now! Just think of all the people you can reach by advertising your website on social network sites.

    Businesses use these sites to market to the 12 to 21-year old crowd. Plus, many baby boomers (another great market for travel) are utilizing these social sites so they can keep in touch with their children and grand children, meet friends, and find a mate!

    If you do not utilize social networking, you’re missing out on many opportunities to gain readers for your blog.
