Make Money by Writing For Others

Travel writers can make money by blogging for others. Many new travel social media websites are being created. These websites need content. Organizations will invite you to sign up with them, but make sure you are compensated for your work. You do not want to develop a reputation of writing for free. Offer to write for free for one to three months (tops). If the person in charge of hiring writers likes your work, they can compensate you. If not, you part ways having many writing samples for your portfolio. Visit Travel-Writers-Exchange.com for blogging opportunities

Make Money From Your Blog

  1. Search Ads – Place search ads on your site. According to Technorati, “38% of bloggers use search ads on their blog.” Google’s Adsense program is the most popular. Microsoft and Yahoo have similar programs.
  2. Promote Affiliate Products – Affiliate programs are FREE, quick, and easy to sign up for. If you can, sign up with an affiliate directly. Commission Junction and LinkShare also administer affiliate programs. Select a few choice affiliate programs. Do not sign up with hundreds of programs! Click here, Travel-Writers-Exchange, to visit our section on affiliate programs.
  3. Donations – If your travel writing is useful and free (and/or ad-free), you can ask readers if they’d like to donate money to keep your blog up-and-running. This technique is quite common on political-oriented and “computer technical help” websites. Add a “donate button” to your travel writing website and link it to your online transaction processor (Paypal or Paypal equivalent).

These are some ways for you to make money from blogging. Whether you blog for someone else or for yourself, you are sure to make extra money. Once your blog is up and running, start monetizing it. For more information on how to monetize your blog, check out the videos on PPC Classroom. These videos are very helpful. They get to the point and explain how to monetize your blog. Good luck with blogging!
