This just in for immediate release. Gurus are people who are leaders in a particular field. Travel writer gurus have been on the run for years. Now, they are wanted all over the world! Seriously, travel writers are in demand. Look on any website such as TravelWriters.com and you will find a plethora of job opportunities listed in the market news section. Peruse Craigslist and you will find many opportunities. Just be mindful of the scammers that may be listed on Craigslist. These are people who sit, watch, and wait for the right moment to strike. They also cannot spell or write complete sentences!

The demand for travel writers does exist. You just have to know where to look and how to research. Finally, dedication, time, and perseverance are important as well. If you are not willing to put the work into your craft, then you will reap what you sow, which will not be much. Patience is a virtue. At times it seems to take forever to see the results from the fruits of your labor. Be patient because it will happen.

Remember, when you plant a garden you do not plant the seeds and dig them up because they did not grow in two days! You tend to your garden by keeping it free from debris, giving it water, and nurturing it with plant vitamins. This can be applied to travel writing. Write everyday, read other travel writers, keep the the faith, and learn as much as you can about writing, the travel industry, technology, and anything and everything!
